Whiting & Davis was established in 1896.  They are famous for their elegant, high quality mesh handbags and purses, which are still highly sought after today.  This vintage gold mesh Whiting and Davis purse embodies their spirit and quality.  Circa 1940's, this purse features a 3" gold mesh strap.  Purse measures 5" wide (at it's widest point) and 4 1/2" tall, not including the strap.  Interior gold satin lining is in perfect condition, and exterior is also in wonderful vintage condition.  There are a few slight scratches on the metal frame, which are not noticeable.  You will feel like a celebrity carrying your vintage Whiting and Davis Gold Mesh Purse.
